First off, in case you haven’t noticed…meaning, you are living under a rock as we speak…we have completely re-branded everything. We are no longer Mike Lichtenwalner Photography, we are now simply, Mike L. Photography. To put it simply, we dropped the German. No, I’m just kidding. But we did change everything quite a bit! We now have a brand new logo which was designed for us by Erika Jessop Design. She did an amazing job and she had such patience working with Mike and I. We had no idea what we wanted but because of my “mad paint skills” we came up with something. Nah…I’m just kidding again. (I do that a lot. Kid I mean.) Anyway, along with the new logo, came a new website that we got through Bigfolio. They have such amazing templates to make such a simple design become so many different things to so many different photographers. Then along with the new website, came an updated blog. We really hope you all like everything! We have been working so hard to get everything to you to view on one day so you could get the complete package and it has not been easy. I know I have been keeping you all on the edge of your seats about our “surprise” and to some it may not seem like a big deal, but it was a huge deal to us. Mike and I, and now Perkins, have been working our tails off for the last almost 3 years to get Mike L. Photography where it is now and because of all of you, we did it! Thanks everyone and welcome to the new Mike L. Photography!

On that note, a few weeks ago, Mike sent everyone an email from a company called, “Shoot Q.” This is the company that we are now using for our booking process. Every bride/groom now has their own personal portal and their own password to access their contract online. This information was included in the email that Mike sent you. You will now also be able to pay online using your credit card instead of having to send in a check. As I have let many of you know, we have moved and while we love our new place, our mail is all kinds of messed up so this online payment system makes your life so much easier, as well ours because things getting lost in the mail sucks. Very soon you all will also be receiving a Questionnaire. You may have answered some of the questions on it already, but bear with us! We want to make your business experience with us as great and smooth as possible, so we appreciate all of your cooperation.

In other news, our prices will be changing as of August 1st, 2010. We just want to give everyone a head’s up who may be thinking about booking us that things are changing…so get in now!

Also, we ARE booking for 2011! Some have asked and the answer is, yes! In fact, we are booking up quick for next year, so drop us a line so we can chat…you are all aware of my Blackberry addiction.

Great news everyone! We are now a preferred vendor on EmmalineBride.com. This is a great website that should get more attention in Nevada, so spread the word! It is kind of like Etsy but more geared towards just Bridal things. Check it out!

On another note, we have several blog updates coming within the next couple days. We have been incredibly busy and I know a couple of you are holding your breath waiting for your teasers…I promise, they will be up soon. Thanks for your patience, you guys are amazing.

We’re getting some awesome things lined up for 2010 including new product offerings. We’ll announce it as soon as we finalize everything so be sure to follow us on facebook and twitter so you get the information first.

We finally have a blog up and running. It took awhile but that’s because we are so picky.

First off, we just want to say a big THANK YOU to everyone that has posted about us on The Knot. We promise not to let you down. However, do keep in mind that we must receive your contracts and deposits back by October 31st, 2009 for the special pricing that we are currently offering.

Second, we are booking like crazy for next year! As of right now, we are only taking off in July, so please keep that in mind when sending Client Requests.

And third, we will do our best to keep this updated! Mike and I are so busy right now and we have all of you to thank for that. Honestly, we cannot tell you how much we appreciate each and every one of you for your kind words and referrals. That’s why we love doing what we do! But ANYWAY…enough of the mushiness…
